Katrina Maddox named Gaylord Entertainment Chairman’s Award winner
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 19, 2010) - Edward Morgan Promotions’ (EMP) Brand Ambassador, Katrina Maddox has been recognized as Gaylord Entertainment Chairman’s Award winner for 2009. More than 100 Gaylord employees were nominated for the prestigious honor.
Katrina’s nomination cited her respect for the Grand Ole Opry, itself, as well as for its artists, her coworkers, its business partners, and guests. “While Katrina is innately respectful of her fellow STARS and of our business partners,” her nomination stated, “her actions constantly also show respect for our company's customers.” Katrina isn’t just an excellent employee, but also a special person who makes the Grand Ole Opry, Gaylord Entertainment and EMP better places to work. “If our staff is a family (and I'm here to tell you it is), then Katrina's desk is our family's kitchen,” her nomination continued. “It's a hub of activity. It's where people stop to check on the whereabouts of other staff members. It's where we check on the status of everything under the sun. Ask anyone and they'll tell you it's not the desk that makes that area our kitchen, it’s the dynamo behind it.” Katrina is the Marketing and Sales Assistant for the Grand Ole Opry. When not working at the Opry, Katrina serves as a brand ambassador for Edward Morgan Promotions. She has worked events for the organization since 2007. During her tenure, she has exemplified Edward Morgan Promotions’ core values. When representing clients, such as General Motors, Katrina stops at nothing to ensure that consumers have the best brand experience possible.
